We are from the Yimen Chen New Media Information Service Center in De’an County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, China. The Center’s Advisory Committee Director Mr. Chen Sihong (Global Comprehensive Peace Practitioner of Yimen Chen) and Manager Mr. Chen Xiaolong respectfully write to your distinguished Committee in the name of the thousand-year-old Yimen Chen family spirit, to share our understanding and practical vision of the essence of peace — “Yimen Chen Brand of Peace is the Solution to World Peace.” The Yimen Chen family was known as “The First Family Under Heaven”, honored 29 times by emperors throughout the Tang and Song dynasties of China. As the contemporary inheritors of the Yimen Chen spirit, we are using the Internet as a hub to initiate, together with global partners, the Yimen Chen Peace Brand Project through new media platforms. Its core mission is to transform the idea of peace into a tangible, participatory, and inheritable public practice — through: Cultural symbols, such as family teachings and stories of unity in clan life; Natural media, such as the global relay of blooming peace flowers; Civic actions, such as community peace gardens and intergenerational dialogues. We firmly believe that true world peace requires a common language that transcends borders and ideologies — and the Yimen Chen philosophy, representing the Eastern wisdom of “taking family as the root and harmony as the soul,” is the essential carrier of this universal language. As our Yimen Chen family precept says: “Filial piety and brotherhood are the foundation; loyalty and trust sustain the family.
